I just wanted to add one further concept if it wasn't mentioned. If we start reading, in context, in Matt 21 forward through, say Matt. 24, we will find that the Kingdom ( Matt 21:43) “will be taken from YOU and given to a nation exhibiting the fruits thereof” and then we keep reading forward to Matt 23 of the Woes upon unbelieving Israel that were coming to pass soon ( Mello “about to happen”) within that generation from 30-70 AD, which was the transition between the old covenant and the new covenant. In Matt 23:35 Jesus prophesied “that all the righteous blood shed from Abel forward is coming upon you” and it did come upon them on or prior to AD 70, ending any and all promises to land and special status. The new Israel of God today are those “in Christ”, Christians, from all of humanity wherever they reside, there are no barriers between ethnic races, all are one in Christ ( Eph. 2 & Gal 3). The true jews, as Paul said, unequivocally, in Rom. 2:28-28 are those in Christ, the true spiritual people. Thank you for your efforts.
