Thankfully, I’m generation Jones (😜) but I grew up in the Evangelical churches of the south. I was red-pilled about 15 years ago on this subject matter and I can’t get over it. I struggle with how to articulate my findings with Boomers and the influenced Gen Xers that are in my immediate vicinity. I have always been an opened minded person and a huge history buff. But, I find myself being an outsider, in my ecosystem, with my revised beliefs but I have to believe this is my calling. JD is super-solid with his assessments.
As a baby-boomer, I became aware of the Noahide laws and their alarmingly potential effects around 2005. It took a while to believe that they could ever become a real threat to Christians. I didn't think anyone would really accept them because of the sub-laws. Then I realized that none of my skeptical friends knew about any sub-laws. That's where the real danger is. Now, I have friends who have swallowed the whole "a complete Christian follows the Torah" lie. It really hurts me to see them wearing special clothing, studying with a rabbi, and performing rituals in order to be a "complete Christian".
Jeremy, I’m a boomer and I’m more frustrated with boomers than anyone. My theory is that Huckabee is in the inner circle of “Christian” Zionism. The inner circle knows that they are diametrically opposed to Christianity in many ways, so they try to sell Zionism to the outer circle by saying whatever works, whether it’s true or false. I expect we will see some of the inner circle renounce Christianity and convert to Judaism in the near future. The outer circle falls for optics almost every time. If something looks Christian and conservative they accept it without examination.
I think this is mostly true, but I actually think most of these conversions will be to Noahidism, instead of Judaism. JD makes this point very well in his article.

I heard from a messianic guy in 2001 in New York who was a Dr. An acquaintance, that most of the Huckabee types think there support is a testimony of love to jews about Jesus. He also then said... but chabad types etc actually see it ( your embrace of their customs) as a sign you are coming THEIR WAY so its temple time and everything else time too.
