Also, nowhere in the Bible does it say that Christ will preside of a resumed temple sacrifice system or a new temple. Christ dwells in the hearts of His children now. The Holy Spirit is in us. To re-institute temple sacrifice would be blasphemy for what Christ has accomplished.
I would really love to hear them discuss what actually happened with the Balfour Declaration and the subsequent invasion of Palestine. I finally have done my own research and was absolutely shocked that Christians have been horribly lied to about this time in history. It will rock your world. There is no way that was God’s will or plan. No way.
I may try to watch this later, but quite honestly for me, the debate was settled years ago and is best presented by Ted Weiland's book, "God's Covenant People; Yesterday, Today, and Forever." It's absolutely rock solid, crammed with evidence, and has yet to be soundly refuted. His smaller book, "The Mystery of the Gentiles" is a fantastic primer if one wishes to read a shorter work before taking on the big one. Also, Steven Collins presents a fairly lock-tight case in his book, "Israel's Tribes Today." (I disagree with some of his Judah conclusions). But the first Weiland book I mentioned is so incredibly good that I buy copies to give to local churches for their church libraries.
Well, yes and no. Judaism itself was first created in Babylon, during the captivity of Judah. The priests from the tribes of Judah and Levi were actually treated well by the Babylonians, and began studying the mystery religion and occult teachings of Babylon. In fact, it was during this captivity when the scribes of the kingdom of Judah abandoned the old paleo-Hebrew script, and adopted the Imperial Aramaic script due to it's prestigious magical and numerological properties. The so-called "biblical Hebrew" script is nearly identical with the Imperial Aramaic script with its square-stylized letters (and is often actually called "Babylonian Hebrew"). During the captivity, Judah blended old Torah-based teachings with Babylonian mysticism and practices, giving birth to the nascent syncretic religion known as Judah-ism. Talmudic Judaism actually developed much later, but was an outgrowth of the Babylonian Judah-ism.
However, after the Babylonian captivity during the post-exhilic period, some important demographic changes occurred. First, it's recorded that once the kingdom of Judah was freed, only a tiny remnant actually returned to the Judean region. Most migrated east and southeast, settling in other nearby lands. Then there were two big changes. The first was the Hasmonean Dynasty where under John Hyrcanus, a massive forced conversion of Idumaeans (Edomites), Canaanites, and others to the religion of Judaism occurred. Under Hyrcanus, Judaism suddenly grew significantly from the addition of these non-Israelite/non-Judahite converts. Shortly thereafter, the Idumaean Antipater I founded the Herodian Dynasty and under his son Herod the Great, again required mass conversion of non-Israelites/non-Judahites in the region to Judaism. So again, suddenly the ranks of Judaism swelled with non-Israelite/non-Judahite converts.
During these two periods, Judaism -already a religious syncretism with Babylonian religion- received an influx of influence from Idumaean/Edomite religion. What developed was the eventual two (similar but competing) schools of Judaism; the Pharisees and Sadducees. By this point Judaism was an entirely different entity from anything the kingdom of Judah practiced pre-Babylonian captivity, and was a conglomeration of religious practice involving bits and pieces of Hebraic Torah teaching, Babylonian mysticism, Edomite/Idumaean religion, Canaanite religion, and Pharisaic "traditions of the elders." Talmudic Judaism didn't really begin developing until after the destruction of the temple in 70AD, and was largely born of this hodge-podge religion, of whose adherents were almost entirely made up of non-Israelite/non-Judahite converts.
So the short answer is, if you go far enough back, then yes, Judah and its idolatry was the impetus behind the creation of not just later Talmudic Judaism, but Judaism itself, but by the time Talmudic Judaism was formally being developed, most of original Judah was elsewhere and but a tiny fraction of the adherents of Judaism.
Anthony seemed to be very caught up in this verse out of Zachariah regarding “mourning of the inhabitants of Jerusalem”. I can’t imagine how Jews still living in Jerusalem leading up to 70 AD and shortly after, that any Jewish converts during that period wouldn’t have been mourning the piercings of Christ.
Correct.1948 is fraud. But Israel is a disobedient firstborn son. And Israel is the harlot wife of Jahoveh. Israel in order to fulfill her destiny and propose in God must be brought to the place of repentance. THAT requires punishment out among the Gentile nations. Israel will be scattered again. That requires the events of the Time of Jacobs Trouble. Israel will be punished to the point she will cry out to the God of her fathers and He will send the greater than Moses. That requires another Holocaust. 2/3 of world Jewery will either die or be taken into slavery. THATS the context within which the Gentiles are blessed by helping keep Jews alive. THEN the regathering from the 4 winds is effective. Christ will appear to His people AFTER they are back in the Land. Restored people. Restored temple. Restored land. THAT is the context.
What about Jews being “blessed” by sharing unashamedly the gospel of Christ (free from censorship)? Encouraging murder of opposing views of the messiah was / is not Christ’s message to the church.
Todd. 1. The Jews are dead in their sins. They don’t have a Gospel to share. Israel is the slayer, in the Land without Messiah. Jews today are an unredeemed people. When the last Jew of the dispensation Christ ministers to died, the temple scarified ceased. What remains is an entire earthly domain of Jewery living in death. The entire nation must appropriate the blood of the Messiah they killed. That has not happened. The nation will be brought to the place of repentance. But that requires another Holocaust. 7 times hotter. See Daniel. God will not forsake His wife or firstborn son but without repentance there is no deliverance. Same for me and you.
2. Encouraging murder ?
3. What was Christ’s purpose for His first appearance?
Todd. You need to bone up on The Time of Jacobs(Israel’s) Trouble. Daniel’s 70th Week. Catch up with Isiah. Jeremiah. Joel’s description of Israel’s true condition. Sick from head to toe. And then God’s remedy for defilement.
Todd. My goodness you are conflating the destiny of the Nation of Israel with the destiny of an individual who is in Christ. Very different but related. The Christian faces the Judgment Seat of Christ. The basis of which is faithfulness and fruit bearing.
The individual Jew today has two choices. Remain outside the body of Christ and thus remain in his sin. Or repent and become part of the one new man in Christ. He thus can avail himself of the opportunity to ascend the throne as an overcomer. Ask you self Todd what is the nature of the race all Christians are in. Not all win. Or what is the nature of the mark of the prize of the high calling of God in Christ ? It can’t be common salvation. That’s free. The high calling is earned. Requires works. Alot of work. Don’t go off half cocked into a Sunstact without some serious experience. Like 10 more years of living with Christ. He’s you savior. Thats free. But lordship is costly. Lifetime costly.
I think it's pretty absurd to think that there are people today that can represent the blood line of the 12 tribes of Israel. All of humanity is a mixed race. And Ashkenazi jews ( like the ones in occupied Palestine) are European converts to talmudic judaism, so they aren't even semites.
I'm sorry, if you don't understand that God's love is for His elect only, you won't have complete understanding of the Bible. Predestination is the foundation upon which other doctrines find harmony.

Do you agree that talmudic Judaism came from the tribe of Judah?

Thats awesome! Looking forward to it.
I know Pastor Furse personally and I bought his book “Who Is Israel.”
He’s a great man.
Well it is a breath of fresh gospel truth air to hear his beliefs.
It sure is. Have you ever heard of @Dr. Chuck Baldwin? He’s a pastor in Montana who talks a lot on this subject as well.
Jeremy,
These kinds of debates are essential for waking up the church right now. Thank you for sharing.

Why didn't someone tell Pastor Anthony that the top of his head was cut off and that we were looking at him from the top of his glasses?

Another holocaust is encouraging murder…no?
Yes, repentance and acceptance of Christ is salvation to all who enter in.

I’ve “boned up” and have led many secular Jews to Christ …that’s my / our assignment…to both Jew and gentile.
Also, everyone’s sin is what Christ was crucified for….and rose again for…
